Word on the street indicate that Mike Sonko Mbuvi and Rachel Shebesh both garning for Nairobi Senate and Women Represenative respectively, have ditched Ferdinand Waititu, the TNA Alliance aspirant for Nairobi Governor and are now supporting Jimnah Mbaru of Alliance Party of Kenya (APK) popularly known as “MBUSS” within the Jubilee Coalition. The move move is said to have been characterized by pressure by a group of influential businessmen who are said to be keen in seeing a technocrat take charge of Nairobi but are not keen in endorsing Dr. EVans Kidero fearing economic sabbotage by members of their community and have since pushed for the Jimnah Mbaru’s endorsoment for ticket. by the Jubilee Allaince hierachy.


The business community,are said to have put immense pressure on TNA presidential candidate Uhuru Kenyatta to endorse Jimnah Mbaru arguing that he is the best suited to safeguard the interests of the business community in Nairobi.


The move by Shebesh and Sonko are seen as an indicator and those in the know informed The Kenyan Artivist that Waititu has been summoned to a meeting by his party big boys to convince him to step down for Mbaru coz DEFEAT is imminent if he (waititu) squares it out with Kidero in the polls, just four days away.

AMong the demands Waituitu is said to be contemplating is a refund of over 25o million Kenya shillings he claims to have used in the campaigns so far as well as a promise that he will be offered a “strategic position” in the event Jubilee wins the elections.
